Bartek Kołdej
Art Director – “Przekrój” Magazine
He was born, because he couldn’t really help it. He dabbled in education, because he had no idea what to do with his life. He ended up getting a job by accident and he liked it, so he decided to keep it.
He never cuts corners – he could simply break his legs and be done with it. Instead he runs long distances too, which leaves him incapacitated for days on end.
Bartek doesn’t read papers – he just checks them for things that could be done better. He most likely doesn’t even exist, because he’s not on Facebook. He always wanted a basset hound, so he owns two cats. He likes to stay warm, which is why he’s been spending his holidays in Scandinavia for the past few years.
He’s a Zen master when everything around him is collapsing, but snaps a little when people ask silly questions.
Nowadays, he could become a politician (because diplomacy is so foreign to him).
The only things that could kill him are set routines and his wife (just before the new issue of “Przekrój” goes to print). Actually, it was her who wrote this bio for Bartek. He was too busy, as usual.
