Born in Warmia, with a heart devoted to Krakow, currently residing in Warsaw.

In the 1990s, she embarked on adventures in treasure hunting and delved into the mysteries of ancient civilizations, though her success was moderate. As an adult, her passion for exploration transformed into a scholarly pursuit in the field of literary and translation studies.

She graduated in Comparative Literature and Culture Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and mastered her knowledge at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London.

In her free time, she researches translation history and explains the brutal reality of the modern-day publishing industry to her students.

Before joining the „Przekrój” team, she contributed to Gazeta Wyborcza and coordinated editorial projects at the Znak publishing house.

She likes white wine and the color black.
