Proofreader – “Przekrój” Magazine
Born in 1980, Sylwia graduated from the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw, after which she completed a postgraduate diploma in Media and Social Communications. Proofreading has been her career of choice for the past decade, during which she has worked with a number of publishers. Fixing errors is more than just a job for her – it’s her passion and something she considers her true calling in life. That’s because of her love for her mother tongue, as well as for precision and order. She enjoys the vast range of new information she gets to absorb through her work.
In her spare time, Sylwia enjoys listening to music and watching films – preferably classics or critically-acclaimed contemporary pictures. She won’t turn down a good television series either. She loves travelling, long walks with her camera, and dining out with friends. She dislikes… apostrophes and commas in the wrong places.
