Tomek Niewiadomski

Founder of PRZEKRÓJ Foundation, Chairman of the PRZEKRÓJ Foundation Council

Born in Olsztyn, in 1974, Tomek is an entrepreneur, publisher and photographer. He studied Management and Marketing at the University of Warsaw and graduated from the School of Fine Arts-Photography in Sydney.

In 2013, he bought rights to the oldest discontinued weekly magazine in Poland and became the new owner of Przekrój Magazine. In the years to come, he would develop a new publishing strategy, build the team and become the magazine’s editor-in-chief. Przekrój, now a quarterly magazine, was welcomed by the readers and enjoyed immediate success. While working on both Polish and English-language digital issues of Przekrój, Niewiadomski decided to establish PRZEKRÓJ Foundation. He then transferred all property rights to the Foundation, becoming the Chairman of the PRZEKRÓJ Foundation Council.

Now, Tomek co-creates and authorizes the Foundation’s programme; he also participates in forging new paths of Przekrój Magazine’s development.
