Andri Snær Magnason

is an Icelandic writer involved in environmental protection. Father of four children; son of a doctor; a nurse’s husband; a neurosurgeon’s brother. In 2016, he ran for the presidency of his country. He did not win, but he has won a lot of literary prizes.
