This image is taken from the cover of issue no. 170 of Przekrój, Poland’s oldest society and culture magazine. It was originally published on July 11, 1948. The creator of this illustration, Zbigniew Lengren, was a famous graphic artist, cartoonist, and author of caricatures, aphorisms, and epigrams, who worked with Przekrój weekly from almost the beginning. His series featuring Professor Filutek and his dog Filuś is one of the publication’s most recognizable symbols.

There are 440 pieces to be arranged, made of 1.5 mm thick cardboard and packaged in an organza bag made from synthetic yarn derived from recycled plastic bottles.
